"Happy Father's Day Dad" "Take a Flying Leap"
Yes....they survived. Corey, Kristen and Dustin decided they needed to "take a flying leap". Katie is carrying precious cargo..so she opted not to jump. It was great fun to watch..and think I might could really do it. The grandkids were too young to jump, but had a great time watching with anticipation as they tried to spot their mom.

Hi Friends and Family,

Well, life at the Hansen's has been quite a roller coaster ride---these last few months. Corey decided to sale his cow herd and the mountain permits----so I have been on an emotional ride. I can't explain my feelings and thoughts, because I really don't know how to act, what to say or do. This has been our lifestyle for 31 years and is now coming to a close. In some ways it will be nice to not be up all night tending the baby calves, but in other ways I will miss the little critters. Life on the farm has been good to us, but I guess it is time to change..and try something new. You ask "what".....so am I asking the same questions. Corey seems to be happy with his decision and so all will be fine.

I am so grateful that Dottie and Ben went with us last June...and took a second by second snapshot of us taking the cows on the mountain...and ALL of our family was with us. This will be a memory...that will be close to my heart. I didn't realize that it would be the last time we would be going to the moutains...with our herd of cows.

I dearly love the mountains and being with Corey. I love riding and "just being in the beautiful-peaceful mountains!" I swear it is as close to "Heaven" as we can get while on this earth!!

As for now...I will need to find something else to do.

Hang on to your memories and keep them close to your heart!! Time flies and soon life changes----too quickly!!
